Methyl esters Our vegetable-based fractionated methyl esters have particularly good colour values and are virtually odourless. They have a wide diversity of applications, from base oils in lubricants, sizing agents for textile fibres and mould release oils to methyl ester sulfonates. In many cases they are a cheaper alternative to the classic fatty-acid esters.
